# Sermorelin subscriptions: check the next charge before enrolling

The most useful subscription question is specific: what happens next, on which date, and for how much? A monthly price alone cannot answer it.

## Put four dates on the same calendar

A sermorelin subscription may involve an appointment, a payment, prescription processing and delivery. Those events do not have to happen on the same day. Before enrolling, ask for the next billing date, the refill-processing date, the cancellation deadline and the expected supply period. If the service cannot yet provide a delivery date, keep that uncertainty visible rather than treating the payment date as the start of usable supply.

Consider a hypothetical refill that processes on the tenth but arrives several days later. A cancellation request made just before delivery might already be too late under the seller's processing policy. This example is not a universal timeline; it explains why the deadline must come from your actual order. Ask whether the date shown in your account refers to a charge, pharmacy processing or shipment.

## Read the cancellation deadline literally

Strut Health provides a concrete example. Its support article checked October 12, 2026 asks customers to cancel at least 48 hours before the next refill is scheduled to process. It directs customers to the active order in their account and says a processed refill cannot be canceled and refunded. That is more specific than the broad idea of canceling anytime.

Our [Strut review](https://sermorelinhub.com/reviews/strut-health) covers its wider offer. The timing above should not be borrowed for another provider: ask that service for its own cutoff and cancellation method. If different pages give different instructions, request written clarification before relying on the more generous version. A screenshot of the selected plan and confirmation can help establish what you understood at enrollment.

## Separate the prepaid term from the next renewal

There are two spending decisions in a prepaid plan: the commitment made today and the next commitment authorized for later. Canceling a future renewal does not, by itself, answer whether an unused portion of the current term is refundable. Ask both questions separately. A monthly equivalent on a three-month purchase is also not the same as permission to pay only one month.

A practical comparison sheet needs separate fields for today's total, the period it buys, the next charge and any refund conditions. Add clinician or membership fees as their own rows when applicable. This makes it easier to compare a smaller initial commitment with a lower advertised monthly equivalent. Our [quote comparison guide](https://sermorelinhub.com/guides/comparing-sermorelin-quotes) explains the wider cost calculation.

## Finish the cancellation, then check the account

The [FTC's subscription guidance](https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/getting-and-out-free-trials-auto-renewals-and-negative-option-subscriptions) recommends following the business's cancellation instructions, retaining the request and checking statements afterward. Keep the confirmation, not just a note that you intended to cancel. If a later charge appears, compare it with the order history and contact the business about the specific transaction.

The FTC also describes contacting the card issuer about disputed charges and saving supporting records. A dispute is not a promise of reimbursement. In your records, distinguish a new renewal from a charge already authorized for the current term. Clear dates and documents are more useful than a general statement that the account was supposed to be closed.

## Keep the care decision separate

A billing preference is not a medical plan. If you are considering stopping, changing providers or delaying a refill, ask the treating clinician how that affects your care and how to obtain your records. Do not stretch a supply or change a prescribed schedule to make it match a payment calendar.

Before closing the account, check how you will contact the practice about an existing prescription and retrieve visit notes or laboratory reports. Our [records-transfer guide](https://sermorelinhub.com/research/sermorelin-medical-records-transfer) explains what to request. The aim is a clean financial exit with the clinical questions addressed, rather than discovering that an account closure left both unresolved.
