# Sermorelin cost: read beyond the monthly price

A monthly price is only useful when you know the formulation, the amount supplied, and the commitment behind it. Here is how to compare the two providers we currently cover.

## The prices we checked

Advertised prices checked October 7, 2026
| Provider | Format | Advertised cost |
| CoreAge Rx | Injection | Starting at $99/month |
| Strut Health | Injection | $119/month, auto-refill |
| Strut Health | Sublingual lozenge | $99 per 30-day supply |

This is a two-provider snapshot, not a market-wide price range. Strut’s page says final pricing is determined after consultation. CoreAge Rx labels its price “starting at.” Confirm your actual charge before authorizing a prescription order.

## Compare the same thing

An oral lozenge and an injection are different formulations. The fact that two options cost $99 does not make their dose, absorption, or outcomes equivalent. Similarly, two injection plans are not necessarily comparable if one does not publish the vial quantity or prescribed dose.

Ask for the total quantity in milligrams, the concentration, and how long the prescribed supply is expected to last. A vial price is not automatically a monthly price. Avoid calculating cost per dose when the necessary information is missing.

## Build a complete quote

- **Medication:** the cost at your prescribed formulation and dose.
- **Clinical care:** initial evaluation and follow-up charges.
- **Labs:** any baseline or repeat testing and whether it is included.
- **Delivery and supplies:** shipping, handling, and any separate supply charges.
- **Renewal:** billing date, shipment interval, and cancellation deadline.

Free shipping does not mean every other part of care is included. If a provider’s page is silent about lab costs, treat that as a question, not a promise that labs are free.

## Illustrative budgets, not quotes

If an injection plan remained $99 per month, three months of medication would total $297. At $119 per month, it would total $357. These calculations assume an unchanged price and exclude any additional services or fees; they are not provider quotes.

Do not prepay for a longer course solely because the monthly equivalent looks lower. First understand what happens if your clinician changes the plan, you stop treatment, or you have a side effect.

## The question that makes comparison easier

Ask: “What will I pay today, what will I pay at renewal, and exactly what medication and care does each charge cover?” Request the answer in writing. It is more useful than an advertised percentage saving without the underlying terms.
